Walking With US

We offer a vast selection of walks for English speaking people in Languedoc Roussillon, SW France, probably more than anyone else in the area and there are several reasons for this.

Firstly there are very few English language books you can buy on walking in this area and the ones you can buy are for point to point walking which then leaves you with the problem of luggage, do you carry it or what! Whilst there may not be many books in English there certainly are in French and many of them are circular walks because the French like nothing more than to drive out then walk. We have taken these walks, translated them, modified them where required and keep them up to date.

The second reason is we live in the area and the walks have either been walked by us or by our guide.

Thirdly, you will be based in one place which is located roughly in the centre of some of the finest walks in SW France. This means you can arrive, unpack and actually start your first walk straight away. You don't have the constant worry of having to re-pack every morning, wait for your luggage to be collected and then start walking.

We have short 4 day breaks to give you a 'taste' of the region or long breaks breaks of 7 days. We can offer different walks depending on your abilities plus the opportunity to have 'free' days where, in conjunction with our guide you can choose what you want to do.

Finally we offer choices. You can either take our full package that includes being collected from the airport (so you don't have to hire a car), driven to and from your walks, have a guide with you while your walking to get the best from your walk, return to the airport for departure and even your picnic lunches are included.

If you want to be more self sufficient then that's not a problem as we also offer unaccompanied walking, you can organise your own transport, buy picnic lunches from us (or make your own) and we will supply you with your maps and instructions. We can even supply you with a TomTom to get you to the start of your walk and a Garmin GPS preloaded with your days walk should you wish.
